Four Mission cities receive the EU Mission Label at the Cities Mission Conference: Delivering Europe’s Urban Climate Transition in Torino. Three more cities have been recognised for their commitment to climate-neutral and smart city transformation by 2030, bringing the total awarded across Europe to 106 and marking an important geographic milestone. Eleven cities received the Mission Label at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025 on 15 October in Brussels, demonstrating the growing momentum of urban climate action across Europe. The newly labelled cities are Munich (Germany), Angers Loire Metropole (France), Zagreb (Croatia), Rome (Italy), Differdange (Luxembourg), Amsterdam, Eindhoven & Helmond, Groningen, Rotterdam (Netherlands), and Bratislava (Slovakia). The city of Torino in northern Italy has been announced as the next host of the EU Cities Mission conference on 27-29 May 2026.  The programme is expected, however, to begin on 27 May with sessions outside of the main conference venue.
