NetZeroCities is offering new peer-learning opportunities with Mission Cities and access to online resources to all cities in Europe and Horizon-associated countries who want faster progress on climate action. And no matter whether you’re already pursuing ambitious climate targets or have just begun to explore the possibilities, let’s connect!

As part of the EU Cities Mission, the Mission Platform managed by NetZeroCities  is supporting  112 Mission Cities selected by the European Commission as they strive to reach climate neutrality by 2030.

Building on this work, we are now offering unique opportunities for peer learning with Mission Cities and access to a wealth of online resources  — all designed to support cities committed to a climate-neutral future. These opportunities are open to all cities across Europe and Horizon-associated countries that are not part of the 112 Mission Cities but aim to advance towards climate neutrality.

This supports the EU Cities Mission’s second objective: ensuring that Mission Cities act as hubs of experimentation and innovation, enabling all European cities to become climate-neutral by 2050.

Join the NetZeroCities Portal and access peer-learning opportunities

Interested cities will be able to access exclusive peer-learning opportunities, such as twinning programmes, online discussion groups and group study visits with Mission Cities.  In addtion, a suite of tools, resources, and collaborative services is available through the NetZeroCities Portal. These will empower city practitioners to work cross-domains and overcome barriers to climate action.

This blend of online and in-person activities builds on the experience and approaches developed as we continuously support Mission Cities, and on tools and services they’ve been using to develop, plan and implement their climate neutrality ambitions. One key feature is the Climate Transition Map, a strategic tool guiding cities across sectors to overcome challenges and achieve climate neutrality.
