MoUs & Workplans signed

NetZeroCities is actively signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to establish new partnerships and significantly enhance existing synergies with related projects, initiatives, and networks. These collaborations are essential in fostering knowledge exchange, driving innovation, and amplifying our collective impact towards climate neutrality in European cities.

Below is a list of the organisations and initiatives with whom we have already formalised an MoU or a work plan agreement.

If you’re applying for a Horizon Europe call and would like to explore the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NetZeroCities (NZC), or if you believe your project could benefit from a partnership because it specifically contributes to an urban climate agenda, follow these simple steps:

  1. Once your project is awarded (or already running), reach out to us at hello@netzerocities.eu.
  2. Our team will arrange a meeting with your project consortium to identify potential synergies. The aim is to mutually contribute to each other’s goals for sharing innovative solutions and best practices, and to seek synergies when similar issues are approached and addressed from different angles, to optimise the use of resources and prevent duplication of efforts.
  3. If both parties agree to proceed with the MoU, we’ll collaborate on drafting and finalizing the agreement. We have a standard MoU template that will serve as the foundation, and we’ll refine the document together until it’s ready for signature. The MoU will be signed by the project coordinator from each side—Climate-KIC in the case of NetZeroCities.

We look forward to collaborating with you!

Please note that this only applies to funded projects, networks, associations and NGOs. Private companies are invited to join the NetZeroCities Community of Practice.
