Mannheim's Enabling City Transformation Activity: COLL€CT – Collectively Enabling Effective Climate Investments

Context and Challenges
To achieve climate neutrality, Mannheim is addressing a major bottleneck: the absence of strategic funding and capacity-building systems for climate investments. The COLL€CT project establishes a comprehensive framework for improving the city’s ability to secure and manage funding, enabling both public and private actors to implement innovative climate projects. It also fosters the replication of funding models not only across the city, but also beyond Mannheim’s borders, through a structured knowledge and training centre and peer learning.
