Meet NetZeroPlanner, our newest tool to support all cities on their climate-neutrality journey! Planning and implementing decarbonisation at city-scale may seem a daunting process, requiring constant monitoring and adaptation to stay on track to climate neutrality.

That’s why we have partnered with Kausal, to design NetZeroPlanner, a powerful data-driven decision-making tool that empowers city leaders to assess the impact of their Climate Action Plan, refine their roadmap and ensure they meet their GHG emission reduction goals.

Empowering your City to Plan, Prioritise, and Fund your Path to Net Zero

With NetZeroPlanner, cities can now monitor progress against defined emission targets through performance reports and scenario analysis, create roadmaps for achieving decarbonisation and use real-time data to enhance and evaluate climate strategies.

By supporting cities in evaluating the costs, benefits, and return on investment across various sectors, NetZeroPlanner enables city leaders to prioritise actions that maximise the reduction of GHG emissions and financial returns, including co-benefits.

This tool is now available to all city users on the NetZeroCities Portal. It is open-source, free, and aims to be a dynamic part of a city’s planning process.

Get started with NetZeroPlanner

We’re hosting a Tool Training Series webinar on 17 April, 14:00-15:30 CEST  to walk new city users through the main functionalities of NetZeroPlanner. We invite you to register and join us for this interactive presentation and Q&A session.

You can also find training modules on NetZeroPlanner and additional learning resources on the Learning Group “NetZeroPlanner: Building a Strong Economic Case”, as well as on the NetZeroPlanner Portal page.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and your experience with using NetZeroPlanner!
