377 cities from all 27 EU Member States and associated countries applied to Horizon's Europe Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities. The EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities aims to deliver climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 and ensure that these cities act as experimentation and innovation hubs to enable all European cities to become climate-neutral by 2050. The 377 cities that expressed an interest in becoming climate neutral by 2030 submitted information on their current situation and future plans to reach that target. NZC partner Eurocities, a major network of European cities, is recruiting a Climate Neutral Cities Advisor to work on the NZC project. The selected person will connect cities with the support for their needs that the NZC project offers via its One Stop Shop Platform and its consortium expertise.
